Carb Rebuilding Question

    I was working on my car the other day. I know the carb needs to be rebuilt. While I was making some other adjustments, I noticed the linkage was "loose". I can move it up, down, foward and back. I'm assuming this means that the bushings are worn out. Is that something that can be corrected easily :Do No:

    Dan,
    That's a common Q-jet problem. Spray some gumout at the throttle with the motor running. See how big the vacuum leak is. Rebuilders should be able to bush it for you.
