Does anyone have a clue on how to put a picture of their car under their user name? I see plenty of people with pictures of their car under their name, but I have no clue how. Could someone please fill me in...thanks.
It can be a bit of a tedious process...but here it goes. The picture under your name is called the "Avatar". Your avatar must be 150x150 pixels or smaller. If you cannot resize your picture yourself, I can do it if you send me a copy of your picture through email. I'll send the resized pic back to you. My email address is smrtin17@aol.com After you have gotten your pic back, make note of where it is on your computer. Go to the "user cp" on the upper right of this page...or any page on the v8buick site. Here you can change all the options and make your signature like you see it under my post here...it will appear automatically every time you post a message. Once you are in the user cp, go to "edit options" and scroll to the bottom. The bottom box is the Avatar box. Click on Change Avatar..this will bring you to a page with a bunch of pre-selected pictures. Ignore these and scroll to the bottom once again. The bottom box says "You can upload an avatar from your computer:"...Click on browse and find your picture. Once you find it, click OK and then click on Submit Modifications. This should be it for the Avatar. There are a thousand options you can play with in the user cp and you can customize it how you want. Good luck to you!
