Can this fender be saved?

1967 Special/GS fender bashed at the front. Can this be knocked out with minimal filler?

And who is "Woodpecker"? lol

 

Oh, heck yeah! That one is easy compared to some things that look like a wadded up ball of aluminum foil and have been repaired.

It looks almost NOS.

 

Yeah that'll be an easy one.

 

don't just use filler!

 

hammer it out! bring the metal back as close to original as you can, then filler. you never know, you may not even need filler

hand that adjuster a hammer , bondo and sandpaper , tell him to do it and walk away.

 

I have done that to many adjusters. I love the plastic bumper cave in.
