Technology is great! Even though my factory supercharged Ford Lightning is making approximately 600 easy HP with the changes I made, idle’s at the stock six hundred rpm’s. Now there is a kit out there that works off the air conditioner system and acts like nitrous. Press a button and it shoots a boat load of cold air and fuel. Worth 80 to 90 extra HP. All looking completely stock.

Really, 80 to 90 HP coming off the A/C, haven't heard about that, but always wondered if that was doable. Now I know it is. Vet

Was ready to buy years ago and studied it somewhat. Remember the hp but not the details. It has to build up the temperature. Or better said build down the temperature . It’s on a Lightning site I used to frequent. Googled the kit just now but can’t find it.

72 overlap on a 300 cubic inch and on 500 cubic inches makes a big difference in the power range. i think when he wrote that 72 rule he was having a bad day. 10* duration is too much more like closer to 6* between hyd and solid lifter cam. years ago the solid lifter cams could have had 32 thousand lash now with the tight lash cams they are closer to half of that.

I would have to imagine the increase is because of the hotter inlet temperature from any kind of forced induction versus naturally induction. Even with an inter cooler.
