You also have to consider that if you use a bigger cam, make sure your heads and valve springs will handle it.

The Comp 260H works well in my car. The engine has never had the heads off, idles very well, and doesn't need a lot of spring pressure off the seat or over the nose to work. The lobes are not very aggressive, so I don't worry about flattening lobes. I will step up the cam if I throw some ported heads on, but with the stock heads I didn't really see any benefit to going bigger than the 260H. I paid $70 for the cam off ebay and had to buy lifters so it was not very expensive either. I think I have more tied up in the springs than cam/lifters. I think I can get it down to a 13.5x as it sits with some more tweaking and good air. It's more important to worry about matching the combo than how it sounds at idle. I haven't seen much track data from the Lunati cam, I'd love to line up with someone who has this cam and see what happens
You can tell a lot about how a cam will work on the street by the idle if you have been around them for a while. If it has a nice crisp sound under a 1000 rpms it should be a good street cam. That's why we want to hear them. Been around to long to get my jollies over a rough idling cam. Bob H.
