This is a question about Camshafts and Bore vs Stroke For a motor with a 4 in Bore and a 2.5 stroke 1.54 ratio Verses A motor with a 4.0 in Bore and a 3.0 stroke 1.36 ratio Would the Shorter stroke motor need a longer duration cam to allow the cylinders to fill compared to the 3 in stroke? How does lift effect the short stroke vs long. I am trying to find a cam that will be a bottom to mid range with a max of 5000 rpm. I am builing the 4 x2.5. Steve
