1957 Buick Caballero 4 door hard top Estate Wagon the “Rarest of the Rare”. It is a Model 69 powered by the 300 bhp 364 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine completely rebuilt just a year ago, driven by the Twin-Turbine Dynaflow automatic transmission also rebuilt, coil-spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with torque tube and coil springs, and four-wheel power hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 122 in. For 1954 Buick went all steel, with two handsome four-door Estate Wagons, one in the Special series and the other in the reestablished Century line. These offerings were 1955 and ’56, but for 1957, Buick had another trick up its sleeve, there was a four-door Estate Wagon in the series the more upscale and more powerful Century offered a hardtop wagon bearing the moniker CABALLERO invoking a Spanish idiom, interestingly the Caballero was the most popular with 10,186 built for 1957 and 1958 Buick stopped production because it cost too much to build. Purchased new through Hollister Buick in Hollister, California it has had only two adult owners and only 82,880 actual miles WITH ZERO RUST AND ZERO RUST REPAIR. This 1957 Century Caballero Estate wagon is breath taking. It is finished in show quality Dresden Blue over Dover White (original colors). All stock, power steering and power brakes, original radio, electric wipers were added, flawless two tone interior with embossed emblems way too cool, Buick factory wire wheels with knock offs, also included is the factory set of wheels and hub caps, a custom fitted car cover, the chrome and stainless are beautiful worthy for this super rare car and more. This car runs and drives GREAT, powerful, iconic, dependable and very collectible. #33466 It is now on display at the home of “over the top cars” CHECKERED FLAG CLASSICS 7743 MONTEREY ST GILROY 408-847-8788 or 888-625-2774, sold as-is 3rd party inspections are welcome, California buyers are responsible for sales tax and license fees. Always wanted one. But too much for me now . Was one for sale not too far from where I used to live in the early 80's . Think it was $1700. There was a really nice one for sale a few years back that was owned by the Bush family.

Very pretty car, but the price is a little unrealistic in this market and day and age.
