Ok, I know its not a V8 Buick, but... Took the Turbo T skyhawk out to the store last night. Gotta love 30* weather...anyways, on the way back, a 5.0 stang with a roll cage and flowmasters rumps by. I leave the parking lot of the store first, and sure enough, here he comes... Now, I'm thinking aint' now way I'll win, but it'll be fun to see what my little 18L HX25 turb and intercooled 'Hawk will do...on down the street he pulls up (we're doing about 45). We get clear of traffic and get on it! WHAT DO YOU KNOW? I'm pulling the guy!! I get out of it after pegging the speedo (he was starting to inch up on me). We slow down, and he goes again. This time, I pull him even better! I'm lauging as we slow down again. I yell at him 4 BANGER he replies V8. SO? Then he says, in his infinite mustang wisdom... "Slow Down!" "Why?" I ask "So I can race you!" "You want me to SLOW DOWN so you can race me?" I obliged, rolling down to about 20MPH. This one was the worst yet! I pulled him by a good half a car and held it there until I backed out... We pulled over and he was pretty cool...wanted to run for money. I said sure, let me put the race gas in and crank the boost up...he didn't want to run after that...well, that and when he found out he got waxed by a 1.8L 4 cylinder Buick I told him I'd fight fair and race him in the 73 Boattail, but he didn't go for that either...
