Buick Red Paint

Three cans of Buick Red paint from CARS. I only used one to test the color on a flex plate (also for sale in another thread). This paint is super smooth and sprays on easily. I bought them new four months ago.

Forgot to mention the color. Here is a photo of the flexplate I tested this paint on. Half of the plate has been sprayed with Krylon 2114 "Buick Red." Can you tell which side is which?

Top half was the Krylon 2114.

 

Left half was Krylon

 

LOL! To be honest, I can't even remember which is which or how it's even sitting in the photo. It does appear to be top vs. bottom, though that may just be the lighting in the photo. o No:

OK, the whole thing was painted with CARS. Only the top portion in the photo (slightly towards the left) was hit with the Krylon.

How did u prep the flywheel for paint? Use any type of primer?

 

No primer was used on this one. I just wanted to look at the color.
