Some lil' tweener in a 2000 Celica GTS rushes up beside me at a light on the way home tonight. His girl is staring like mad at the Olds. We take of like normal just cruisin the speed limit. We get up to about 40 miles an hour and I hear him down shift and start to get on it hard. I let pull until his back bumper was even with my front. At this point I go from drive to low and mash it. I jump from 40 miles an hour to 65 in just the length of this Celica. At this point I just let off and shifted back to drive as he pulls along side me I can see his girl laughing and his face is bright RED! Ricer just learned the hard way DON'T FUNK with a Buick 350! Considering this beasty is punched 0.50 over heavily cammed and 10.5:1 compression I think ricers would know better just by the idle than to mess with it. But some Asshats never learn. Just wait till I put the intake headers and 100 shot on Mighty Whitey!!!! Thanks Tim at TA Performance for all the help on making this one mean Buick Powered Oldsmobile. :spank:
He probably thought something was wrong with your car because it was idling rough, I can't tell you how many times I've been asked "what's wrong with it" by a ricer. Good kill!
The lack of knowledge can be funny, a buddy of mine borrowed my 70 'Lark some years back, he pulled up to a stop and with one foot on the brake and one on the gas, revved it up, the car torqued over, then the back end started to rise and he heard the kid next to him say "Cool! Hydraulics" My friend said no, TORQUE nice kill btw
