San Antonio Raceway, Friday October 21. There are hardly ever any Buicks at these events. Get them out there guys!! This race is followed on Saturday by an awesome nostalgia drag race hosted by the Texas Timing Association. Check it out!!!
There will be at least one GS 455, and my 430 powered studebaker there Friday and Saturday. My buddy from corpus christi, George Pollakis is bringing his 70 stage one. My Stude ran 12.03/109 at day of the drags in temple,hoping for some high 11's this weekend . Georges car will be going down the strip for the first time in several years. Rest of you Texas buicks git yer butts out there and have some fun.

No, it's a 55 2-door sedan, with altered wheelbase. Two tone,Black body with Red roof and rear quarters. It's on the Little River Dragway wevsite video for Day of the Drags a couple weeks ago, about 3 minutes in. Probably the worlds only altered wheelbase BUICK powered Studebaker.
