Looking for a bellhousing to swap a manual into my 67 Gs400. Could be stock or the performance/ scatter shield ones Would be shipped to CA Thanks!
At the risk of sounding like master of the obvious: centering with the right offset dowel pins if necessary is key. TKX sounds great. Curious if tunnel mods are required for TKX? Keep us posted. Good luck!
Was at the good guys car show two weekends ago and Tremec was there and they said there should be no trimming on the tunnel on the 67 A body. It did look more compact than the TKO600 I did in the 70. Hopefully it will be as easy. Definitely will center the bellhousing!
There is a bell housing flywheel and fork for sale from a 350 in the parts for sale section in Oregon. The bellhousing is the same for BBB
Would you be interested in buying a Tremec TKO 600 with cryo treated gears? It was guaranteed to handle 850ftlbs of torque with the treated gears. I have a bellhousing that could go with it as well. Thanks Brent
I recently bought a BOP bellhousing from Classic Industries. I believe it was 200 something and bolted my new TKX to it for mocking it up. It is a 68 430 out of a Rivi. I got the flywheel from TA.
Hello Jose, I’ve got two Lakewood scattershields bell housings and block plate if interested. I’m east of Sacramento Thanks, Wes
Make sure to get a TKX with the offset shifter tower or turret. Not just an offset adapter or dogleg. Otherwise you will be cutting the shifter opening. Not all vendors offer that
