I did a quick search and didn't see this posted yet.

This is pretty cool, a 62 Skylark lowrider will be slipped into the "Gran Turismo 4" video game. Is this person a member here?
    Details here.

That thing is a work of art, craftsmanship shows up everywhere on it. I don't want to think about how many hours went into that.

That looks like the work of Troy Trepanier, from Chicago.:bglasses: If it's NOT his, it sure LOOKS like one that he did!:Smarty: :bglasses: :TU:

The one that you guys might recognize, from Troy, is the "Peach" '50 Buick Pro Street Lowrider (Powered by a "Chevy" :gt: 502 :eek2: ) that he built a while back, and it was also used in a Taco Bell commercial. :bglasses:

I think it's TOO COOL to see Buicks in Video Games! Where do you think I got MY "username"?:Brow: DRIVER 2: Because that game, on PS2, lets you DRIVE '70 GS's, and in a "HIDDEN" area of the game, you can get a YELLOW '70 GSX to cruise around in!:bglasses: :TU:

    Just a sec...

Troy Trepanier did a '62 Biscayne, actually, with a twin turbo small block, and yeah, this car had a stint just a few months ago in some of the mags. I don't think that Skylark above is Troy's work, but it is still nice nonetheless, and yes, it does look very similar to the Biscayne.:Dou:

Troy Trepanier also did Sniper, the V-10 powered 54 Savoy. THAT's a hot car. I like the buick posted. Hey, there's also going to be a 67 Toronado...that just made my day when I heard that! I love those cars...:beer

    buicks in video games

In GTA Vice City, you can get gs's, only since they didnt get permission from the manufacturers to do real cars, they mixed it with a cutlass, so its a gs with a cutlass bumper, its called a Sabre, you can unlock a Sabre Trubo, (one of the fastest cars in the game) and it only comes in copperish orange with a white stripe down the middle of the car, its pretty sweet, you can also unlock a nascar stlye regal :Brow: which is the fastest car in the game, Vice City is full of awesome cars, its got an old impala with hydros, some 50's car that shoots flames out side pipes, a trans am, and other hot cars , its also a lot like the movie Scarface, and if you have seen that, you probably noticed the '71 skylark 4 door in the back ground of the seen with the impala convertible:cool:

    ...

im hoping since it is gran turismo, they may add some more buick's to fill out the buick category.
it was always a bit of a let down in the older versions when you go into , say, the opel menu and theres only one car...
but its probably too late in the game design process to get legal permission to add a wider selection of buicks, and do the 3d models, etc... but who knows, the people currently developing this one are literally living in the design studio, maybe they will put forth the effort
