    Hi!
This is my swedish-sold buick 59. I think an invicta was a very expensive car in sweden 1959.
I have been doin a lot of search about this car and I have found thats it have had a life on a castle 1966 and then it was sold. After havin a long life at the streets in the 70,s it was so bad that it stand still outside a shop for about 20years. Until last year when I bought it.
It's a lot of rust and bad rustjobs on the car but I think it,s not a problem.
My english wheels gonna make many new parts that I need! But first the chassie must be fixed.
I dont know if the car gonna be like new or if I keep the "patina" ...
    Now it,s a 401 nailhead but it's stuck.
I have been thinkin about to put an Ls engine in but not sure because then I need to change a lot.

Is it a Swiss built car?
    Speedometer in KPH?
I know you used Swedish Miles back in 1959, were there any cars with a speedometer in Swedish Miles?

A Scandinavian mile (Norwegian and Swedish: mil, [miːl], like "meal") is a unit of length common in Norway and Sweden, but not Denmark.
Today, it is standardised as 1 mil being 10 kilometres (6.2 miles), but it had different values in the past.

The word is derived from the same Roman source as the English mile.
In Sweden and Norway, the international mile is often distinguished as an "English mile" (engelsk mil),
although in situations where confusion may arise
it is more common for Scandinavians to describe distances in terms of the official SI unit kilometre.

This modern definition of 10 kilometres (km) is equivalent to the obsolete myriametre, which was once used in France.

Something a lot of people don't know:
Sweden switched from driving on the left side of the road to driving on the right on September 3, 1967.
