OK, I know this is not the correct place for this post but only had one response in the correct place so here it goes. I'm looking for a 70-72 GS 455 4- Speed for a club member's friend. He is looking for a high end car not needing much in the line of restortion. He lives here on the east coast so you all let me know if you see anything that would light his fire. Thanks!!! AL (IDOXLR8)

    Chris,
How did you make out on the sale of your 71 vert?

I did okay, I wasn't out to make a killing, wanted to give someone a good deal. I got to drive a convertible all summer that I didn't have to worry about when I left in a parking lot all day, and in the end I think I made about $500, and they guy got a nice driver quality 71 for $6k. Of course if you were to count my labor driving to Canada to buy it, cleaning it up, etc., I probably lost money. But the way I figure it, if I wasn't doing that I probably would have been spending my money on something else stupid!

Now I just need to find a 70 GS!!!

    Wrong year, right car?

    Al,
I have read countless times where someone has bought something a little different then they originally set out to get. In example someone sets out to buy a GTO and ends up with a GS. This '73 4spd is for sale right now {check out cars for sale on V8 or eBay} If he drove this thing it would probably impress the daylights out of him. If its matching numbers it maybe a good investment as well.
