Does anyone have a krylon paint # for this paint. Or what parts stores they have found it at? for the 65 model year, I want to paint my 350 to drop in my 65.
i beleive http://www.classicbuicks.com/ carry it in spray bomb but the site isn't up right now. hope they don't disappear, they're the ones that host the "body style chart" i'm always linking.
I emailed Marc (who runs classic buicks) and asked him about it this morning. I was going to make an order, but found it not running. Here is their main site they run off of....you may be able to find it on there without having to go through classicbuicks.com www.cmwauto.com
engine paint I have used por15 in the past. It will brush on and then level out completely. Covers good. and is TOUGH. pricy though.
Check out www.stoprust.net This site is "POR DEPOT". Under the "categories" menu, click on the "engine" listing. There you can get a complete kit- 1QT enamel paint, solvent(nice for cleaning up), cleaner/degreaser, "metal-ready" prep., brushes, gloves, mask all in one kit for $52.00 The color you are looking for is their '53-'65 Buick Green. I got this kit to do my 401 nailhead. Hope to be getting to it in the next couple of weeks.
Poston Enterprise I used a spray can from Poston on my 67 valve covers. Think it only cost around $10. Looked good and just like real Buick Green. That's what everybody calls it.
