Greetings all.... I have a 74 Buick Century and in the process of a rebuild. The only thing that concerns me is the rear main seal(rope). I haven't used one of those as of yet. I did a search and found that the 1987 Buick Grand National's part number for the rear main (rope seal) is the same as the 74 buick 350 that I have. :Smarty: I was wondering if I could use the Neoprene/Rubber Seal that they have listed for the Grand National in my 74 since the rope seal is the same part number. (BS 130442 rope....BS40613 rubber at Advance Auto). o No: Has anyone used this seal, and if so how'd it work out??? Thanks in advance..... Thealchemist12(Milt):TU:
