Yes They were going to retire and close down. Someone from MD whose name I do not know bought them out is moving the operation from Fla to Md.

  3. Man, I'm sorry to hear that news. I knew they were retiring, but it seemed they were going to sell out their inventory first. (or maybe that would have taken 50 yrs... ?) They've always had nice stuff on ebay too, at reasonable prices, for both parts and shipping. I've sent money their way more than a couple times.

Hope the new owner(s) offer the same quality service and prices that Richard and Lois established! They were a great source for NOS parts and their eBay auctions were always titilating !

(Maybe not quite as much as JJ in the half time show.)

Sad news for us Buick fans, and, (I hope), good news for them.
A great service and a personal touch that I have not experienced before.
Let's wish them a very happy & enjoyable retirement, AND a big thanks to keep our Buicks rolling.

For the new owners, Lois have ensure me that the parts will be in good hands. :)

(Maybe they closed because I bought all their parts).

I'm relieved. I have purchased a few parts from them over the years and was quite satisfied with their service. I was afraid Cars was going to buy out what they had left.

    a different spin

I also bought some reveal molding for my 50 Buick. They were supposed to be NOS but the guy at the resto shop that put them on (had to take the whole dash down-more than I could handle) said that they weren't NOS, and he had to fix one piece and clean up the other one also. I was just pleased to find the pieces but at $40 for each one (I needed both sides) seems high when he said it had already been on a car at some time. They got very snippy when I called them and told them about the product I bought from them, and I wasn't nasty at all, just hoping they would give me break on something or return some money. The man got a little bit fired up about it, but otherwise it was okay. Just thought I'd make my comment since it did happen, not bad mouthing them heavy or anything.

They have been saying for a while that they were going to be selling .

We have bought many part$ from them and very happy with all of them .

Hopefully the new buyers don't jack the prices up like some would . Always a great part at a market price .........

    :eek2: :TU:

I just ordered & received a 300" rocker shaft from them. Shipping took no time at all. Was more than a little surprised (and pleased) to see it arrive in the original GM packaging. Very happy with them! Hopefully their level of service is maintained.
