So anyhow, turn your back on a coupla Buick butchers with a sawzall on an Oldsmobile and look what you get. This is all that's left of the 68 Cutlass Supreme 4 door that I bought last week and sold within 24 hours. Tom Miller: These are the guys that bought Brian's 72 442 convertible. Wonder what they plan to do with that rear frame, trunk floor and lower quarters? That ought to be quite a car.
Rust free This car was essentially a rust free car (except for lower front fenders and usual GM A body weak spots) and was driven daily up until a few months ago. Look at the doors. They were almost mint.......but who'd want them? Right to the crusher. Fortunately, I got the interior door handles and the fuel tank, and most of my $$ back. Had to sweeten the deal though with some other stuff.
Dave H JEA and I and some other closet Olds members are going to be at the Olds Nationals in Mn at the end of August. I will be there Thur and Fri. It would be great if you could meet us there.
JEA is going to pull up the W31 . Another 66 442 guy and I are going by air. Dr Dan has his 66 on ebay. Maybe he is coming from Fla. He wants some 66 bezels and I am bringing several redone (perfect ) tail light bezels to sell. Better make reservations. We are the host hotel.
