I gotta have one for our next reunion in Lubbock ! quote=sroys;1377943]Well it has only taken ohhh 10 months or so but we have captured the web domain for the West Texas Buick Boys!!!! AND we recieved a certified letter from GM allowing us to use the Tri-Shield logo for the site and caps, shirts -jackets etc.!!! (Thanks to Dad and 400 phone calls!!!) We have 4 domain names captured but I believe we will build on the BuickBoys.com since it is the easiest to remember... We changed the original logo I made so it will be easier to put on a cap... here is the new one- There is no location requirement....and we dont want to step on the toes of the Austin/Dallas guys who already have great clubs...EVERYONE is welcome!!! Even doo's NorthEast Chapter Mafia guys!:blast: I will try to keep updating and let you know when the site is up!!!:beer[/quote]

Jason- Totally unrelated to the thread. . . What is the difference bteween a pound and a quid??? The reason I ask is the show "wheeler Dealers" on HDTV from the UK. The host says quid then he says pound. I can't keep upo No: Scotty 3X on the shirt for me brother let me know when they are done:TU: :TU:
Hi mate! The program is presented by two English blokes and to make matters worse one is a Cockney! They have this rhyming slang thing for everything its very confusing. OK back to your question, a Quid and a Pound is the same thing. Other phrase's like "oner" "PONY" are also cash. http://www.cockneyrhymingslang.co.uk/ Eartha Kitt = Sh*t
Thanks Scott, I really had fun running the car in the 1/4 mile. Even though I got eliminated by a .0002 redlight, I had fun.
Dude now you know how I felt in the semi-finals of the Super 16 at last years Nationals!!! red by 0.02.................................but I was up against John (the guy who built my motor) and wouldnt have wanted to lose to anyone else!
Hello Midland and all other West Texas Buick nuts. I hope an old Odessa boy can sign up. I've had Buford for about 10 years, and someone would have to pry the keys out of my cold, dead hand to get it away from me. It's just a mild 12.6/109 '70 GS 455, but the local street racers seem to know about it- haven't been able to stir up much lately when I've had it out. We'll be in Odessa for the first time in about 25 years on the weekend of May 16th, for a reunion of the '65 State Championship team. Probably won't bring the old car, but it will be fun anyway. My best, Jack:beer
