Buick and Pontiac C body

    Am I correct in saying there was no Grand Ville in 1976? Was the Grand Ville a c-body like the electra or was it a b-body like the bonneville and lesabre?

    The Grand Ville was always a modified B-Body. The nameplate went away in 1976, and the fanciest Pontiac was renamed Bonneville Brougham.

    Modified how? Do you mean like how the Cadillac Fleetwood was a modified C?

    Jon Needs a Buick...BAD!!!

    The Grandville was always on a B body wheelbase, but it had the "formal" roofline of a C body.
