Did they make a Buick 8 track tape for 1971? Anyone have one for sale? Or a Buick 8 track that does not list the year. Like to stick it in the player, would look cool

Yes, they made a different demo for each year that came with the car.

Have 5 different Buick 8 tracks; besides the one that has '1975' printed I don't know the years of the others:

Just checked the ones I have at the house.
The lower left one is '72, but it's supposed to be in the sleeve that the lower middle one is in.

look here for year - this 1972 Fancy colours in sound KGrHqFhME6ZwtGRqBOn1Gkz3O60_3.JPG

1873 is the other sound around around you KGrHqYOKkQE6Qzq9InKBOn1PZN5760_3.JPG

I'm gonna out limb and guess the a sound step ahead is dated 71 or 70 -- just because it a Columbis special products like the 72. let us know.

1972 is YOM of tape but does it belong to 1972 or 1973 Buick models?

not sure if they match up -- what does the 75 say on back
"The Happy Sound" Buick Stereo '70 Presents
    was title for 70.

so if the sound step ahead says 71 and 75 says 75 on back, I would think the match up

Yes, thanks very much for posting the picture. I was hoping to buy a 8 track tape, preferable 1971 for my 71 Lark. But you have a nice collection. Anyone have a 1971 tape for sale, or a Buick tape without the year largely stamped for cool factor car show purposes?

    - might you still have the tape 'a sound step ahead' for sale?

The various 8 track cassett picture Rob posted was for reference only - and not for sale purposes!
That upper left hand 8 track cassett in red and blue is a '68-'69 demo tape.
Correct for your Cat Rob ! :beer
