I'm looking for a set of aftermarket rods for BBB. I would like direct fit or Pontiac aftermarket rods already machined to fit. I'm going to freshen up the 455 in the GS that I race and might put flat tops in it.
why is the small hole smaller than an 1.0? Is that the way the pins are sized in those pistons? The big end size is without bearing installed? Tell me your story on that combo.
These are parts I've collected over the years These parts were never together in a engine. I'm going into a different direction. I want build a 470 and don't need these parts.
There Ross racing Pistons 12.5 to 1 depending on heads and head gaskets These are brand new never used.. The rods are used bought them off a board member 8 years ago..Ill look to see what rings they have.. I've just looked there's no info on ring size.
Are those pistons full floating? Do you have the locks and pins? How much do you need to get out of them?
I have a set of SD pont rods if your interested but I realize they are not after market and slightly longer than Stock BBB
Hey Ron,Yes there full floating I would like to get 475.00 + the ride let me know if that sounds good..
I found another set like yours for 400 but I have to sell my Ross pistons first that don't have as big of valve reliefs in them. I will keep yours in mind.
Has anyone used those TA sportsman rods for $800? Is there any way of getting them cheaper than that?
