currently have a stock 3 speed automatic in my 1970 buick skylark. i know i need to get a beefier transmission, but for now, will there be any MAJOR issues swapping my 350 for a 455 and keeping the tranny?
I would go for it. What's the worst that can happen? If it doesn't last, get a TH400. If it's a stock 455 and you don't abuse it too much, it may last for years.
