  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Hi, I am in search of a 66 or 67 340 4bbl V8 block and heads for my 1967 Buick Special Deluxe, I have everything else for the motor except those parts. I am in Washington state but am willing to travel. Currently have a 300 V8 2bbl in it that I'd like to sell to swap the 340 in. None of the classic wrecking yards around me seem to have any leads on heads or a block so hoping I can find someone who does, thank you!

  2. Heads should be same for 300 and 340.

Are you looking to upgrade to a performance motor that looks stock? Built a 340 motor with 350 rotating assembly, highly ported heads,, intake and exhaust manifolds, line honed, decked, all ARPs, nitride coated crank, balanced, all oil modifications, etc but am selling the car I was putting it in. All new, built by a quality performance machine shop and never fired. If interested send email for pictures and more details, jim

OK Ericas: I have a couple of 340'z in The San Francisco East bay. One clunked out for sure, the other apart. Enough for a core. Mitch

  5. I know a guy in Spokane who has a 340 block and heads. If still needed, let me know and I will send you his contact info.
