I have a 1965 Buick Skylark with 300 ci engine with 102K on it. I am lookingto overhaul the engien and tranny. Information? sources? Thanx.
300 Parts sources With a little investigation, you'll find that off-the-shelf parts are available to get you into the 14-15 second bracket. Not too bad for a daily driver or mild weekend warrior. Race quality parts are available from the specialty manufacturers. Some that I've used are listed below. Be sure to specify the year of your 300. Minor differences, like pushrod length and valve sizes, exist between the 1964 version and later versions. I recommend checking this section of the site on a regular basis.
