A nice neighbor of mine has a 215 that he pulled off his airboat to put on a stronger motor. He told me its fresly rebuilt and is still on its stock bore. He noticed I tinker with Buicks and wondered what he could get for it. I have no idea and said at least I could ask around. Thanks for any input and Ill pass it on.

Since Rover bought the rights to the aluminum v8 from Buick and started putting it in a lot of their cars from the mid-60's on, it will fit in most Rover vehicles without a lot of fuss. The Brits have loads of aftermarket parts for it, it bolts right up to the tranny, and the engine mounts are readily available.

Hence, it seems like there is always some guy with an MGB that is sick of the lack of power and looking to drop in one of those aluminum Buick v8's. If anyone would pay top dollar for a good running motor, it would probably be one such guy.

Thanks Freed, I told a guy I work with about it and it looks like he may get it. Hes got a bike that he was planning on putting a flathead ford in and likes the idea of the v8 (plus hes not having to good of luck finding a good flathead ford), They came to 300 bucks and both of them seem happy, So I think its a done deal, Thanks again
