This is a brown auto floor console. Plastic is in excellent shape. If you have one that is cracked or broken, this would be a great replacement body. Has a couple pieces of stainless side trim, other than that, its just the body. 50.00 plus shipping. thanks, josh
I think what you have there is a '68-'69 Buick A-Body Console. I say this because the area ahead of the shifter normally has a laminate over wood, applique insert. For some reason the short recessed area ahead of the shifter plate area on your console, makes me feel like there is no provision for that applique/insert on your console. (see attached pic from my original '71 GS). As all trim is missing on the console's topside, If I'm wrong, then either way, your's will fit '68-'72's. The '73-'76(7). had taller sides under the wraparound molding running around the rear of the console and midway up the sides to allow it to sit taller betwen the newer style taller seats. You can trim down a later console's to fit the earlier Buick's, but the earlier short types wouldn't be proper for the '73 + up models. Hey, thanks for the info. I do have the top plate, but it was in such poor condition with pitting and such. I can just send it with the console, to me, its not usable. Anyway, it looks like the one in the photo you sent me. I've had several consoles, and was aware that there were differences but never really noticed them between the 70-72 and the 73-76. Thanks again for the info, its nice to keep learning from another Buick guy. :beer
