  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Bring Back Some Kills From BG

Every time I am in Bowling Green we stay at the Motel 6 on Scottsville Road. When I was a bit younger we used to leave the track around 6-8 BG time. But the past years I have wanted to stay later because I have grown to appreciate the Buick races more than my first time. The past two years I have also grown to realize more about the world of street racing and the loudmouths that challenge people in it. Every time we leave Friday or Saturday there is a Mustang or Ricer heading towards the track to challenge the Buicks. My Dad informed me that the cars must street race because the track is rented for the Buicks only. I don't see why on Friday night after all the qualifying is over there can't be a challenge round for locals wishing to challenge the GN's. Me and my Dad has seen numerous Rustang's on the street who do the traditional Rustang revving at us. My Dad drives the GN from Canada which is a distance of about 510 miles so if it blows a head gasket we're stuck. My Dad can't race the car but for anyone who trailers their GS or GN to Beach Bend and thinks this is a good idea can try and get this as a tradition just like Super 16. If you race your car in Bracket 1 or GSE this could be good for you. It would attract crowds later and I don't know anyone who doesn't like under the lights racing. It's just a suggestion but if anyone else thinks this is a good idea please say so. If I can get enough Buick people I can try and write a letter to the GSXtra about it and take it from there. I know that the Buick powered Datsun got a run against the Rustang and beat it. That made the Buick people proud, so if this happens then I'm sure there will be even more proud Buick people. If we got some wins against cars in BG then think about the stories on this particular board. Again it's just a suggestion, but if people think it's a good idea then answer back so we can Bring Back Some Kills From BG!

    Thanks

    Steve
