I can't seem to find my original thread, but I just wanted to let you know I got my brake problem solved on my 66 Skylark. Seems like the rebuilt booster I bought from Advance Auto was either defective or not the one for the car. I got a well used brake booster in a box of parts I got off e-bay, cleaned it up and put it on. Instantly I got brakes!!! Car now stops like it should and we can enjoy crusing this summer without having to throw out my boat anchot to stop. Thanks to those of you who offered help on tracking down the problem. I learned not to buy "will fit" after this deal. Thank you
