Hi Guys: I have a problem with my power drum brakes on72 Slylark. When I start the car the petal is low. As I drive about 2 blks the brakes start to work better. As I drive, the brakes work better and better until I feel they are normal. Drums are good,shoes show hardly any wear. adjustment is correct. I would like to change to disks but I feel this problem should be solved before I venture into disk brake land. I have checked power booster by holding petal to the floor and feel it go lower when motor starts. Something I have thought of is: I am running TA 413 cam and maybe vacuum is not enough to operate power. Had this motor in about 3yrs now and never noticed this much problem. Give me some advice.
