I recently replaced the master cylinder, and right front metal line on my daily driver (1977 Ford LTD ), and the brakes are working as they should.
however, the brake light is still staying on.

I have tried doing some hard applications, no help. I noticed a plunger sticking out of the proportioning valve (see pic, arrow pointing to button), does it need reset for the light to go out? the master cylinder was properly bench bled, and all 4 wheels were properly bled.

    any thoughts?
