    Howdy

On a 1965 Riviera how do you remove the brake booster? I cannot get the booster linkage to the brake pedal off. Do I have to remove the brake pedal also?

    Thanks

The booster rod mates to the brake pedal with a pin and retainer clip. Take a good look above the brake pedal.

It really takes 2 people to do this operation.....one inside the car and one under the hood to catch the booster. Sometimes you have to press the pedal down to push it out, and then pry the piston rod off the brake pedal thingy, which usually causes the booster to fall on the floor unless someone outside the car can hold it up straight. :Dou:
