    Well here is the long awaited announcement;

    Come one come all to the Berwyn Buick Bash.

    My friend Ken Smith is going to hold a picnic for any and all buick fans on Saturday September 20, 2003 at his house in Berwyn Pa. This party is open to everyone, you don't need to be a member of the BPG or own a buick to attend. He has a good sized property and can accomodate 40 cars in his yard and driveway, before the first car needs to be parked along his front street. For those of you that met Ken at my party, he was the guy that rode the beautiful Turquoise Harley.

    We will have some tents for shade, and plan on having 2 grills going. The rain date for this event will be Sunday the 21st.

    We will be posting some directions later, but to give you some type of reference, he lives 17 miles from me.

    If you have any questions you can post them here or call him. Here is his address and Phone number;
    Ken Smith
    8 Revere Rd.
    Berwyn, Pa. 19312
    (610)-651-2949

    Also we would like to get some idea of the number of people/cars that can attend, so let us know.

    Let the party begin.

    I'm there

    Sounds great, Duane! :TU:

    I've read and heard about your previous party and it sounded like a major happening! Do you have a list of what people can bring or do to assist? I'd love to help out/contribute to this.

    Thanks!

    I don't know Duane. I think you'll have to twist my arm to get me to attend...:rolleyes:

    I recall something about a "police sanctioned" burnout contest???
    I have a set of meats I could burn off...

    I volunteer to bring desserts again.

    How about another caravan out there gang??? We'll be on the PA Turnpike for some of the ride, so a 55 MPH right lane caravan should look sooooo kewl again!!! Remember all the gawkers last year?!?!?!? We can meet at the same Hampton Inn in Yardley off I95 for all the travellers coming down from the north.

    Glad to here all you guys are coming. I just got off the phone with Ken and he is really excited about this. He is planning on having hamburgers, hotdogs, sodas, finger foods and the like. If you want to bring something, maybe something different, or help offset the cost of the food, that would be great.
    I don't think it will be as hot as it was for my party, ours was in the middle of August, but we will have a wet towel ready for Yardley. Last year he looked like he was going to pass out from the heat.
    My advise would be to bring some lawn chairs and film for your cameras, I think this is going to be a big one.

    Flyer for Picnic?

    Could someone make up a post with a flyer for the picnic that could be downloaded for printing. Even if we put one in our windshield when we go to shows we could expand our reach I'm sure to those without access or knowledge of this site.
    Every show I go to a show if there is a Buick there I hunt the owner down and let them know about us and what the next event will be but sometimes that takes most of the show.
    It sure would make it easy to give them a flyer with date and general directions.
    All the Buick Owners I've approached have been very interested and impressed with an event that is ALL Buick.
    Help!

    Larry -

    I need to meet my buddy Rich at NJ TPKE exit 8 (or 8A). Whichever one is for RT33.

    Maybe we could hook up at this exit?

    Hey Marco, are you speaking of Rt.33 in Hightstown or Hamilton? I live right on Rt.33 in Hamilton( 7A)

    Hey Al -

    I thought 7A was for RT 195? Anyway, If it's better, I can ask my buddy to go down a couple miles on the TPKE and we'll meet at 7A.

    I believe the NJTPKE intersects RT 33 at exit 8 and then runs parallel for a while.

    ...so, how about a meet at exit 7A?
