[h=6]Volunteers needed for BPG Nationals 2012 ~~ I hope you all are as excited as I am about this years BPG National event - it is shaping up to be a fantastic time to be in Ohio for showing and racing our cars as well as the fine "Class of '87" and "Big Boat" activities that have been in the planning for over a year ... but we need your help. As in previous years we ask that you give back to your club by volunteering a bit of your time to help run this event. Helping out is easy as there will be Directors to give guidance on what to do so please, no worries if you've never helped before or are new to the club and this is your first event. It is a great way to meet people as well ! The Board members simply can not handle this alone and we need your help in the form of manpower to pull this off. Past years have shown that in the end everything went smoothly when all was said and done and with your help I am sure that will be the case this year as well. The main need for help is manning the enterance gate and helping get admission tickets / race tickets / show tickets to the people just showing up. Each shift will be for 2 hours and we will need help on both Friday and Saturday. As an added "Thank You !!" for helping out, if you volunteer the club will reward you with either one free admission ticket or an Event T-Shirt - your choice ! Or, Sign up for 2 shifts and get both !! I would especially like to ask that the people who plan on attending mainly for the racing program to help during the show and likewise, those who's main interest is in the Show to please help out during the racing periods. I will be putting together the list of Volunteers - you can request a timeslot to work but I will probably have to juggle things around a bit if coverage is heavy at some times and light at others. I will contact you to let you know when we have you slotted for and will keep an updated list in another post. So ... Lets hear from you !!
