I rarely stop by this forum, but I figured today would be a good day. I come to realize that this place is kinda slow. So I'll post a pic of my choo choo and what it drug down to Bowling Green last month. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b240/gsjoe/IMG_0002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
Well, if GM would make a truck that I'd want to buy I'd have one. I'm a big fan of straight front axles and ground clearance. When GM gets their head out of their bum and realizes that heavy trucks don't need to ride like cars, but like trucks I'll start looking at them. When that day comes I'll probably look at a GMC with a Duramax and an Allison. The first thing that would come off is that silly looking front bumper (kinda looks like you could plow snow with it)
That reminds me,I'll have to post pictures of my Chevrolet 2500 HD extended cab with the awesome Duramax Diesel and the 6 speed Allison transmission. Let me tell you guys,I love this truck!!!!!! It is everything I could ever want in a truck. In the next post,I'll have pictures of it to post here. Gotta get the Choo Choo section back up and running!!!!!!!!
Huh? What's wrong with this bumper? LOL I think the front end is better looking than the rest of the truck... I honestly think my 06's styling looks better...
Frank I like your grill:TU: , I just did the denalli style grill protector to save the 4 or 5 rads from flying debris and screwing the rads up. I've seen alot of Ford rads with the fins bent over from pressure washing, that can't be a good thing...
Here's a couple of pics of what I got to drag around on Sunday. These are Dodge Power Wagons for those who don't recognize them. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b240/gsjoe/TowingaPowerWagon.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b240/gsjoe/powerwagon.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
It looks more like what is left of a dodge power wagon. Do the fenders just naturally come off like that when they hit 80 mph? Or just when they slide into trees? Those old Dodges might be easy to work on, but the problem is you have to work on them too often! And finding parts for a pre-72 model is nearly impossible. I found that out trying to keep my old 70 D100 running for almost 3 years. I will stick with my 02 Silverado from now on. I like the way it rides, and that straight axle ford might be nice now, but wait till you see the bill the first time you pay for a front end alignment. Later, Randy
Here is a quick picture of my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 with the awesome Duramax Diesel. These are great trucks!!

Got another pic of my choo-choo in Columbus last weekend. The car on the trailer is Don Eggers 83 T-Type 464. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b240/gsjoe/Donandhisdragcar.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
