If a 455 is bored 40 over what does that give you?

what type of compression with a slightly domed piston should I expect to have, with a TA 284 -88H cam with 460 in 460 exh.?

To avoid any guessing, you need to know:

    block deck height
    bore
    chamber volume
    piston volume (+ or -)
gasket volume (or gasket bore and compressed thickness)

Most Buicks don't need anything but flat tops to get upwards of 12:1 static compression with the decent iron heads. the '74 & up heads had huge open chambers that are not well suited for a high performance aplication.

Camshaft profile has no bearing on static compression ratio. Dynamic ratio is another story, but you need the above answers to take the first steps.
