hello everyone, we are doing it again for the 4th year. We need you to come out and support the Buick community. The Olds and Pontiacs are kicking our butts. Its a great time of the year to race, test-n-tune or show your car in the covered pavillion area. Don't miss it, for more info please visit bopcracing.com

It would be nice to see Rod and Danie show up with the new TA block and even the score a bit.

Certainly am, were you one of the guys at the gate? Him and his dad are great guys. And anytime, thanks to whoever for hosting a buick event, and I'll be there in Feb, but my Skylark might not :( did anymore buicks show up? I left kind of early cause I had to work, there was a GN, riv, T type, and just as I was leaving a 72 GS sun coupe 455 was pulling in, I went and talked a bit to him, nice guy.

I went by Saturday, rain and all. There were only a few people around. I figured they'd postpone to Sunday but that would have been tough for me... two churches might not have understood why their preacher didn't show up!

ha, BOPC finals is a plausible cause! and on Sat, I would of been the yellow skylark out front. I was outside the gate.

I see there is a phone number on the flier for more info but does anyone here know the rules on powertrains? As some of you already know, I have the proverbial 'turd in a punchbowl' 350 Chevy in my `65. I am about 4 hours or so away from Gainesville and would consider coming to this in February if they'll let me in. We don't have a 1/4 mile track over here but I have run a best of 8.41@81mph in the 1/8. In fact, I did that yesterday at test and tune. I'm not going to be the fastest car there by any means so I won't be much of a threat to anyone but it still sounds like fun.

Michael, yes it was me at the gate. No other buick showed up, pretty sad huh!

Golden Oldie - you can bring your chevy powered buick and test-n-tune all you want or run it in the Muscle Car Eliminator class (trophy class). But you can not enter it in the BOPC gambler race ($ class). Come on out and enjoy a fun filled event when rain doesn't screw it up!

My car was gassed up and ready for the trip on saturday but the weather here in Middleburg(a little over an hour northeast of the track) was bad and the weather channel did'nt look any better for the Gainesville area.

Once I saw the rain date was sunday I just saved my tank of gas since I already had plans.

See you guys in Feb maybe.
