A/C or not I am going to make it this year. The car is still missing a headliner and sail panels but heck by the time it’s 100% I might be too old to drive. Lol Cliff
I’d like more details about this event but the link doesn’t appear to work for me it says it’s no longer available. Is this just a car show or is it a race?
Its a full day car show. I've been going to this for close to 10 years. Riv has won several top 10's and best Buick.
We had a pretty good crowd of Buick‘s last year. I’d say at least 20 and possibly more. It’s a real nice show with a lot of shade trees.
I went in 2020 and 2022 but will have to miss this year. It falls during our annual trip to the North Carolina mountains to get a dose of color. Sorry to miss it this year.
Ray, I was hoping to meet you this year at the show. You most likely don't know who I am but you helped fund my car by buying a new never used distributor from me. That part actually came from a guy in Michigan who used to own the 4 bolt main block. Crazy how things move around. Cliff
Getting the car ready for the drive up to Auburndale. I noticed my RF tire was wearing out on the outside. Sure enough I had a weak idler arm. Got that replaced and bought a new tire. The old tire, and I do mean old, date code from 2012, had also developed a slight bubble. I'm ready for the trip and hanging out with Buick friends!
Seems like theres 2 threads going on this. https://v8buick.com/index.php?threads/bopc-show-in-auburndale-fl-october-28-2023.389221/ I'll be going and will be staying at the Sleep in on I-4 in Lakeland friday night. If any of you are in the are drop in.
