Boot Retaining Rings

    I need the upper and lower for my consolette and know these are like hens teeth but is there something else anyone has done or used in their place? Thanks in advance for any info.

    Jerry,I had the same problem,I took the non consolette boot(which is way
    oversize)and trimmed it down to fit inside the consolette,even without
    the rings-- it stays in place and doesn't look too bad. HTH:TU: Pete

    jj455 1970 Stage 1

    I have an orginal lower boot with a small tear where the shifter goes thru, and a repop retaining ring I'm willing to let go. PM if your interested. Jim

    Marco, Looks like I'm out again this year. My sister is having a 1st birthday party for her twins the same day. That'll make me 'O' for ever...one year I'm gonna make it!

    Thanks Pete, if it comes to that I'll give it a try, it looks pretty good.
