    Hi

I'll have to figure out how the carb works sooner or later, and it's probably the reason for my bogging problems. Is there a site or book anyone knows of that explains how to rebuild one of these, and will also tell you what all parts are called. When I hear secondary, butterfly, jets, etc. etc. I have no idea of what people are on about.

It's ordered... First the HEI will be properly set up, then the carb will be given some attention. I'm going to a show held at a track on July 9, and by then I hope we have it up and running properly, thanks for the help.. :TU:

The book is a valuable source of info on this carb. There are, however, some things this carb was known for, regarding bogging. Knowing when it bogs will help me help you with repairs. If you will provide detailed descriptions on its performance, I can provide known fixes for the problems, as well as a few less known. Ray

I have a few Carb books, but the one from Doug Roe is the best. Its the first one I go to when I get stuck or run into something I'm not quite familiar with. The other books are good for the pictures that are in it.

Thanks so much for the offer :TU: , I'm a little bit behind schedule on the rest of my life at the moment, so by this weekend I plan on installing the tach, gauge set, and recurve kit for the HEI, maybe I'll get it all tuned in too, depends on how smooth it goes. After this is done, I'll start sorting out the carb. I just need this book, so I can understand what people are talking about, but we'll get there... :beer
