    Daves72 I get jokes.

I have to replace my driver's side upper hinge, and maybe the lower also. Do any of you have an opinion on the OPGI door hinges? Would it be better to find a good used OEM one?

    Thanks,

Might be fairly hard to find good ones, especially Left Side. They are all by themselves, do not interchange with any of the other GM big cars.

Since you are dealing with OPGI, the real question is:

"Is it really the correct hinge for your application or do they just think it is without confirmation."

I sent hinges off to "Willy the hinge master", and he did a fantastic job on them. (64 Skylark)
He is also a very personable guy to deal with. Busy, but worth the wait.

In a case where you drive your car frequently, perhaps calling or emailing and get worked into his schedule so you can send them when he has time to get them turned as quickly as possible.

Yeah, that's certainly a concern. Here are the "Also Fits."

    Pontiac Catalina 1971-1976 Bonneville/Catalina

Not confidence inspiring given what newmexguy says above.
