I've been corresponding with buicfrank about his repro 69 GS grilles. He sent one down to his son in the Fort Lauderdale area to try to find more buyers down here. He has the nerve to have his kid call me up and then come to my house with the grille. Now, how am I supposed to say no to a perfect item like that, right there in my driveway, while I've got a bunch of Franklins trying to fight their way out of my wallet? It's like trying not to buy thin mints from those poor sad looking girl scouts outside the grocery store. Needelss to say, the grille is now packed away on the shelves in my gararge, and Frank has another satisfied customer. Frank, thanks for making an awesome much-needed piece. :TU: -- Steve
sneak Steve thank you. Did he dress in ripped and torn clothes? Glad if it will fit your needs. Frank
I think they should be tarred and feathered unless they show up at my door with a repro 68 GS grille...
I just hope it well packaged. Maybe up your home owners coverage. That sure is one good way to sell products though. I am sure it would not be hard to gather a list of car owners. Then find out when they get paid. And just happen to be selling NOS&RPO Buick parts door to door that day
Frank -- No, he was clean shaven, well-dressed, respectable, all that good stuff. You thinkin' he hired a stand-in? o No: Said nice things about my GS, too. Better yet, even though he wasn't all that into GN's, he brought along a friend who was, who kept saying he wanted my GN. Pretty smooth job of schmoozing the customer all the way around. You got all the bases covered, don'tcha? -- Steve
