My night started off kind of bad last night. I called an my ex-girlfriend to see if she wanted to go out to dinner because she made me promise i'd take her before i left for bootcamp (this Sunday). I call her phone and her b/f picks up and says swearing up a storm and threathing me. I told tough guy to quite down and put Sarah on the phone. He kept going off and i was starting to loose my cool so i hung up the phone and figured i'd get in touch with her later. I was pretty worked up and bothered by that point so i decided to do what always makes me feel better. Take the Buick out. So I whent cruising around clearing my head.

    ---(Drama ends story starts)---

I'm sitting at an intersection and this kid i used to go to school with drives by. He has a 71 cutlass with a 350chevy witht he bolt on's. I made the quick right and followed him into a parking lot. We sat and talked for a while and then left, both of us messing around till we got up to the light. We sit there a second throwing revs and what not. He lifts his backend a bit and i start holding my revs at about 3500. Light turns green and i musta done something right because she came out of there squatting an screaming. Got a nice chirp as i shifted into second and gave a look to see where he was. I was slowly pulling on him and i hit third and left him behind. We both braked hard for the next light and he shifts over into the left lane.(to turn into his sub) He sits there smoking the tire and then makes his turn. Hes a cool kid and a good sport. Does a little trash talking but doesnt make excuses. I still like to give him guff for putting the chev in his olds. All in all it was a good run and i got a call from Sarah later telling me she told tough guy to go home and was apologizing for him being a idiot.

hey, easy, DO NOT GO TO MEDICAL UNLESS YOU'RE DYING OR YOUR SENIOR DI ORDERS YOU TO... Don't miss a minute of training if possible, SOUND OFF ALL OF THE TIME, Do everything as quickly as physically possible, and most importantly take it from one day to the next, it's only a few months and the pride of being a U.S. Marine will last FOREVER
