Looking to get a pair of Bilstein B6 24-009294 shocks. Ordered some off Amazon but they sent me used ones that I had to send back. Each shock runs about $94 each or $188 for the pair. Is their any cheaper price out there. Most vendors like Summit have free shipping just add tax.
Had KYB's and they blew out twice. Just got the Bilsteins from RockAuto at less than $94 including shipping and tax.
I have had Bilsteins on three of my vehicles. Never had a problem with them. Put 229,000 miles on the set on my truck and they still worked great.
These are the KYB's that gave me issues. Notice the ring on the piston rod. I installed them and NO groove was added on install. Hope my Bilsteins were worth the extra expense but they certainly handle better and provide a better ride overall "in my opinion" .
