It sure seems like there should be something in that spot where the rear parking brake link would be if it were on the rear. The little rod things coming out of the wheel cylinder don't come straight out and meet with the shoes. They are crooked and point kind of down to meet up with the shoes. Things just don't look right to me. :Smarty: Think I'll look into a front disc brake setup! :Dou: :TU:

    Thanks guys!!!

  2. Dee,
Here are pictures of my brake setup before a rebuild. As you notice, my "nubs" point up a little. Since these are only held in by the rubber boot over each end of the wheel cylinder, they tend to go where they want to. I hope these pictures help.

Edited because picture was of wrong wheel

My "nubs" point down quite a bit. Enough for me to think they wouldn't be able to push the brakes out evenly. I'm a perfectionist though, so may just be jumping to conclusions. They do seem to be sitting on the piston correctly and also seem to be working okay.

The pictures do help. Thank you! :TU: Wish I had a digital camera so I could post a pic. of my funky nubs!
