    wheelz 'B' is for Buick.

I HATE negative comments. Hate giving them. Hate receiving them. In this case however, I have to vent frustrations about dishonest people. Recently I parted out a 65 Lark vert. This "SkySleezy" fello replied and wanted the entire front wheel assemblies. Backing plates, hubs & drums.
He and I emialed each other many times. I sent him digital pictures.
He agreed to buy the setup for $90, which was basically to cover 3+hours of my life to help this guy out. I followed up with a UPS shipping quote to California where he resides. He basically told me to "LOWER MY PRICE IF I WANTED HIM TO BUY MY SETUP". . HUH?!!! We already agreed to a price, I already spent my time carefully removing EVERY PART, hose, clip, backing plates, hubs, drums, nuts & bolts. . MY TIME. MY LABOR. All for this SkySLEEZY fello. and now, its been two weeks and I've sent no less than 6 requests asking him to reply & he doesn't have the guts to reply back to me at all. YA KREEP!
I guess I should've realized what kind of un-intellectual dufus he was when I first got a reply from him from his email address: dbleSHIT@yahoo. .
Really says a lot about him doesn't it? Please, just beware of this SkySLEEZY dufus. He should be a FORD guy. NOT Buick. Buick guys just don't treat Buick guys this way. Well, thanks for letting me into your computer to vent. I DO feel better now.

Sorry to hear about that, some people are stupid. But please dont run down us Ford guys, we arent that bad :bglasses: No matter where you go or what you do, there are going to be people like that. Hopefully you can sell your setup to someone else!!

If you shipped it to him, that means he has a shipping address and you know where he lives. We have lots of members from all over the world on this board. Get the picture? :Brow:

Dennis, do you mean "Skyleezy"? That's the name I find in the memberlist. I assume you didn't ship anything yet, from the info you've given. At least you aren't out the parts.

I don't know about that comment--In the last few months there were a couple of "buick guys" that strung me along for parts that after a long while they decided they didnt want or never replied, or even changed their minds (like in your case) after I gave them a shipping price, even though they were the ones who came to/emailed me for the part. Heck I waited over 2 months for money from a guy who kept saying he was going to pay, I finally sold it to someone else on the board.

I had my share of deadbeats here on this list and on Georges that I will not sell to nor acknowledge any of their posts.

Needless to say Wheelz, chock it up and remember him in the future, Good luck and I hope you find a buyer for that setup.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I dont really mean "Ford or Chevy" guys are any different. I've owned a few Mustangs, Torino GT even a 67 Cougar 390 GT. Heck, I drive a F150 every day!! AND I've got a 65 Vette in the garage! Ya see, .. I've been dealing with Buicks and "Buick people" since 1971 and I feel that "WE" are the best bunch of "giving" and "willing to share" car enthusiasts in the world! I mean that too!
I also know that every once in a while, some dufus-bimbo comes along like Skyleezy (aka Chris) to test my ability to remain calm. I do pretty well. MOST OF THE TIME!!! . . and NO, I didn't ship him any parts. I still have everything intact. Someone, someday will need these parts. Thanks again for your support my friends. Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    Sorry Doug.

Doug, I sorta recanted that part of my commentary yesterday. Guess I shoulda picked on a Mop_ _. .well, no, how about a Porsc_ _.. NO?, .. hmmm. . maybe a Chev_. . AGAIN NO ?? Anyway, I am adicted to all kinds of classic musclecars and I regret making that statement nevertheless.
The point was, BUICK guys don't treat BUICK guys with the total disrespect that SkySleezy fello has done to me. Thats all. Forgive me for that FORD thing already willya? :beer NOW, get back to work on your Mustang!!! :bglasses: Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    To Wheelz

:( I'm not made of money, I cannot restore my car into what you guys turn your cars into, i go to college, i work part-time, and eventually i will restore my car...I did agree to pay you, it was all said and done i agree, i didnt have that money at that time to pay for those parts of which you quoted and for that i found another seller for a lot cheaper. It's not like you shipped the parts and i never payed so i dont know what you lost out of this other than learning how remove brake assemblys...you can simply sell them on ebay if there are no other buyers on v8..maybe they won't buy it for your price..Im sorry i went for the cheaper price simple as that and dennis I said before sorry for the inconvenience I didnt think i am in the wrong here for just maybe wasting your sat. afternoon...sorry

Are you an only child? I'm sorry but what a childish response. How would you have felt if he emailed you telling you "Sorry, I know we agreed to a price, and you were expecting the parts, but I kept trying find someone who would give me more money, and I found someone. Sorry"

Chris, you had an agreement. Not to mention the man spent the time taking the parts off of the car. A car that might be easier marketing as a parts car rather than a disassembled group of parts. I'm sure Dennis already knew how to pull the brakes off so don't expect any thank you's on that gift you gave him. I would be pi$$ed myself.

I sure hope you don't need any other parts from Dennis because you just slammed the door on that.

Stick to your word.......and to quote you...."...simple as that"

You guys have your buicks too far up you ***. I agreed to the amount he was selling it for i didnt agree after the shipping costs. What am i supposed to do? Buy it be broke, or find it for cheaper? If he was cutting me a deal since Im on this forum...don't you think he could sell it for his price if not more? If he wasn't cutting me a deal what was he doing ripping me off?...maybe he was making a profit..for a car he was junking anyways..but then again any money would be a profit to a car you're throwing away right? So what's the issue? Sorry if i wasted 3 hours of his life. Oh...I get it...wheelz is known around here...makes people happy for the parts he sells...so that gives you guys a right to give me **** about how Im such a "bad" buyer...I'm sorry I don't have the luxary of the social security to restore my car. I thought this board had to be professional? After the comments Dennis made and others, I wouldn't want to buy anything from the people who have commented on this issue. :moonu:

    Poppaluv I CALL WINNERS!!!

I suppose it wouldn't have been so bad if you responded to his e-mails!!! :spank: THAT at least would have been common courtesy.BTW I don't think you are going to have to worry about any of those guys OFFERING to sell you any more parts for your Buick. Just find yourself the nearest Buick tree and take your PICK! :moonu:

Social Security? I'm 43....a long way from Social Security and I don't know any of the people on this thread.

If the shipping $'s broke the deal; you need to rethink your project. Next time run ask mommy what she thinks the shipping will be and have her add it up for you.

    jamyers 2 gallons of fun

How about you get an idea what the shipping costs would be before you commit? How about you let him know what your situation is, instead of ignoring him for weeks?
The issue is that you and he had a deal, which is also known as a commitment. Looks like this is a foreign idea to you, but traditionally, it's accepted practice to KEEP YOUR COMMITTMENTS, even if it puts you at a disadvantage. That's what REAL Men do, anyway...
No, you're obviously not sorry, please don't act like you are.
Wrong again...I have no idea who wheelz is, or you, for that matter. All I have to go on is what the two of you have posted. If you feel like you're getting a ration of sh*t for being a "bad" buyer, then why don't you stop acting like one?
If you knew what you were talking about, you'd be dangerous. But that's just funny!
Well, we are kinda hoping you'll act like an adult...
No problem, you won't have to worry about dealing with ME.
(If I'd have pulled parts like that for somebody and they backed out and ignored me, I'd be looking to put my boot up their rear end. I think you're lucky to have the anonymity of the internet to keep yours from being stomped on.)

Also, you're in college? Might want to take a course in English grammar while you're there... :Brow:
