Insane Buick maybe in another decade

I think the best route would be to get a bigger carb! maybe a built 750cfm or a nice 800cfm would really make your engine feel brand new. Just my 2 cents...

72 skylark:i haven't had the car to the track yet but from my guesstimations on a quarter mile stretch of road using my watch w/timer it looks to be around mid to low 14's. i really think a higher stall convt. and some 3.42's or 3.55's would really wake this thing up. the problem i'm having is with the carb . it runs really strong after @ 2500 rpm but it seems to be starving for fuel after about 4200 rpm . its a little soft out of the hole but does pull pretty strong. overall i'm very happy with the ta 212, i dont think you can get a better cam for the street. it really loves to eat eagle talons and all the other triple wing p.o.s.!!! sure do love to spank those import punks.:spank:cant wait to get my 800 cfm qudrajet
