Just asking opinions on what you all think is the best car color with a white interior for a 1972 convertible? I currently have the "Orange" exterior with the white interior and I am going to paint it some day but I might want to change the ext. color.
Also any pictures of your favorite color would be appreciated!
    Thanks
    Tim

    you got it

personally I think you have the best color combo for a convert out there - I tried to get a flame orange and white Centurion convert about a year ago on ebay, was high bidder, but his reserve was MUCH higher. The Flame orange is just a great color and set your car apart. Keep it!!!!!

I like Diplomat Blue if you decide to change it. I think the orange and white looks sweet!
I would have said Fire Red, but I always say that so I thought I'd change it up a bit! :beer

I agree, the orange over white color combo is hard to beat. It's such a nice color, personally I would keep it so all the "numbers match".

I would say any GREEN that was originally offered. I would kill to have a green GS :Brow: With that being said, Cascade Blue is a nice color with white. The GS that JW did for Trace Armstrong is Diplomat Blue with a white top and it looks SAAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET :beer

My favorite combination is black with a red interior. It was never offered so you'd have the only one.

Personally, I'd go triple white in your case, Tim. I can't ever recall seeing a triple white Skylark

Barring that, blue with matching interior and black roof. Not eye-catching, but very classy

Seriously, paint it the color YOU LIKE! Who gives a crap about other's personal tastes. :Do No:

It is your car, not ours (but I do love the flame orange).....

Flame orange is always at the top of this list...with a white top!

I am probably prejudiced as my 72 is also flame orange with a white top and interior, but I like the combination. If it ever gets redone , it will stay the same colors.

With a dark saddle interior and topboot, I painted my Skylark Forest green metallic, a GM choice from 1994. It is a perfect combo. But I really like white interiors with convertibles as it is hot from April to September down here. I'd post a picture for you guys if I can get some help... I have the pictures on a Walmart CD, but need some direction on how to download them and send them out. I have a HP Pavilion a350n.

Marco's Stage 1 registry site has some good pictures. There is a '71 Stage 1 convertible in Cotrez gold, white top & white interior. Try & picture it without the stripes. Very nice colour.
