Just scored a Dominator that has sat for years. Was curious what yall use to soak body and parts to clean?
See a few available with screen basket, these are the kind I'm interested in. Thanks , Jim

There is some parts cleaner out there that comes in a 5gal. metal can with a basket that works very well. Nasty smell that lingers forever and will actually eat through the metal can after 6-7 yrs. I believe the brand name is Berrymans carb and parts cleaner.

I was going to mention berrymans also . I had the 5 gal and got the basket with it . Used that for awhile , lasted pretty good . Added a gallon of the replenisher a couple times .
Last time I ordered the CRC brand but I think it was basically just parts cleaner . Less smell , cleans different , not quite as effective I think . Plus it turns cloudy when used almost like there's water in it ?
Plus my wife doesn't complain about the smell as soon as I walk into the house , can't possibly be as good !
About ready to order a new bucket of the berrymans .

Mac's from NAPA is another option.

I used the CRC a long time ago.... it stunk, bad! and it did eventually eat thru the container and leak all over my garage floor. What a mess.
I used the NAPA Mac's about 10 years ago, can't say if it's better/worse than the CRC.

    Here's the CRC.

    And the Berryman's:

Comparing the MSDS sheets shows they have different chemistries.
There's likely reviews and comparisons on YouTube.
